Product overview
Reliable crown-cap application is essential in beverage packaging where the closure must be positioned correctly and sealed consistently at production speed. The Automatic Single Head Crown Capping Machine combines automatic bottle handling, crown-cap feeding and single-head corking in a compact production-line configuration.
Technogen Enterprise is a Manufacturer and Supplier of Automatic Single Head Crown Capping Machine equipment for Tanzania, serving bottling operations for beer, carbonated beverages, sparkling mineral water and fermenting wine.
The machine delivers 30 to 40 bottles per minute, depending upon bottle diameter, and operates from left to right through an automatic conveyor-based system.
Crown caps are stored, sorted and continuously supplied through a Vibrator Bowl Feeder. From the feeder, caps travel to the delivery chute, where the bottle receives the crown cap through a chute pick-up arrangement controlled by a single cam.
The bottle is then transferred to the single crown corking head, which performs the sealing operation.
Precise bottle movement is maintained through synchronized operation of the conveyor, star wheels and platform turret. A single motor coordinates these assemblies, while a Variable Frequency Drive provides speed adjustment according to operating conditions.
Bottle and cap handling components are designed for continuous industrial operation, with the machine body, doors and crown capping head manufactured from SS 304 and finished in Stainless Steel matt finish.
For beverage producers and bottling companies in Tanzania, the machine provides an automatic crown-capping solution combining controlled bottle transfer, automatic cap feeding, production counting and integrated safety functions within a compact single-head platform.
Working principle
Empty or filled bottles enter the machine through the conveyor and travel from left to right towards the crown-capping station.
The Stainless Steel slat conveyor, star-wheel arrangement and platform turret are synchronized through a common motor drive to maintain accurate bottle movement.
Crown caps are loaded into the Vibrator Bowl Feeder, where they are stored, sorted and oriented for continuous feeding.
The correctly oriented crown cap travels through the delivery chute towards the bottle pick-up position.
As the bottle reaches the designated position, it picks the crown cap from the chute through the machine's single-cam chute pick-up mechanism.
The capped bottle then moves beneath the crown corking head, which presses and seals the crown closure onto the container.
Machine speed is adjusted through the Variable Frequency Drive according to production requirements and bottle conditions.
A photoelectric sensor monitors crown-cap availability in the delivery chute. If no cap is available, the machine stops automatically.
The No Bottle–No Crown Cap system prevents unnecessary cap application when a bottle is absent.
After sealing, the capped bottle moves through the out-feed section and continues towards the next process in the bottling line.

Automatic Single Head Crown Capping Machine for Tanzania production
For manufacturers in Tanzania, Automatic Single Head Crown Capping Machine should be evaluated against the actual product, pack format, production schedule and operating environment. Automatic crown capping machine for beer, carbonated beverages, sparkling mineral water and fermenting wine, designed for controlled crown-cap application at 30–40 bottles per minute for Tanzania Market. The selected arrangement must suit both routine output and the changeovers expected during normal production.
Operating and product considerations
Closure quality depends on the relationship between the bottle neck, cap geometry, feeding method and tightening or crimping action. Samples are used to confirm container support, cap presentation and the correct head or tooling so that closures are applied consistently without avoidable bottle damage or line stoppages.
Planning the complete production line
A complete Tanzanian packaging line may connect this capper with bottle feeding, liquid or powder filling, induction or foil sealing, labelling, coding and accumulation. The upstream delivery rate, conveyor height, container stability and downstream inspection requirement should be reviewed together before the final layout is approved.
Information required for machine selection
- Bottle and closure samples with dimensional drawings
- Closure application method, torque or crimping requirement
- Cap feeding, container stability and upstream line speed
Enquiries are supported for projects in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza, Arusha, Morogoro and other Tanzanian industrial locations. The final model, construction, output, documentation and support scope are confirmed in the commercial and technical offer.
