Product overview
The end of a primary packaging line often creates a manual-handling bottleneck. Products may leave an inspection, labeling, blister or strip machine continuously, while operators still need sufficient working space to collect, inspect and place them into cartons.
The Packaging Conveyor is designed as the transition between primary packaging and manual secondary packing.
Technogen Enterprise is a Manufacturer and Supplier of Packaging Conveyor systems for Tanzania, providing configurable conveyors for receiving bottles and packaged products from upstream equipment and making them accessible to operators for carton packing. Pasted markdown(9)
The standard carton packing arrangement uses a tabletop construction with a centrally positioned PVC-coated canvas endless belt. The table top is manufactured from AISI 304 Stainless Steel sheet and mounted on an AISI 304 framework.
The conveyor is driven by an induction motor with reduction gearbox, while the drive assembly is enclosed inside the machine cabinet.
Variable Frequency Drive control allows the belt movement to be adjusted according to the packaging process.
Three standard lengths—8, 10 and 12 feet—are provided, while customized conveyor lengths can also be produced according to line layout. Pasted markdown(9)
A belt-alignment arrangement supports straight belt movement, while self-aligning bearings simplify routine mechanical maintenance.
For strip or blister packing applications, an adjustable entry angle can be incorporated so products can transfer smoothly onto the main packing conveyor.
This flexible configuration makes the Packaging Conveyor useful for Tanzania pharmaceutical and packaging facilities requiring a practical operator packing station after primary packaging.
Working principle
Products or containers arrive from the upstream packaging machine.
The conveyor belt receives them and transports them through the manual packing area.
Operators positioned alongside the conveyor pick the bottles or packaged products from the moving belt.
The products are manually placed into cartons or other secondary packaging.
The motor and reduction gearbox drive the conveyor continuously.
Variable Frequency Drive control allows the belt speed to be adjusted according to production requirements.
The conveyor height can be adjusted to align with upstream or downstream equipment.
Where required for blister or strip products, an adjustable-angle inlet arrangement can guide the products onto the horizontal packing section.

Packaging Conveyor for Tanzania production
For manufacturers in Tanzania, Packaging Conveyor should be evaluated against the actual product, pack format, production schedule and operating environment. Stainless Steel packing conveyor for receiving bottles and products from upstream packaging machines and providing an operator working area for secondary carton packing. The selected arrangement must suit both routine output and the changeovers expected during normal production.
Operating and product considerations
The machine is configured from representative samples, dimensioned drawings and the required handling sequence. This confirms the guides, tooling, contact parts, controls and operator access needed for stable production with the intended product or container.
Planning the complete production line
For a Tanzania installation, the proposal should consider available space, utilities, conveyor interfaces, changeover needs, cleaning access and the roles of adjacent equipment. These details determine whether a standalone machine or a connected line arrangement is more appropriate.
Information required for machine selection
- Actual product and packaging samples or drawings
- Required output and operating schedule
- Available electrical, compressed-air, water or steam utilities
Enquiries are supported for projects in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza, Arusha, Morogoro and other Tanzanian industrial locations. The final model, construction, output, documentation and support scope are confirmed in the commercial and technical offer.
