Product overview
A round-bottle labeler has to do more than simply dispense a sticker. At higher line speeds, the bottle has to arrive in the correct position, the label web must remain under controlled tension, the gap between labels must be detected accurately, and the bottle must rotate smoothly while the label is wrapped around its surface.
The Round Bottle Sticker Labeling Machine is built around this complete labeling sequence.
Designed for self-adhesive and pressure-sensitive labels, the machine handles full-wrap as well as partial-wrap labeling on round Glass, Plastic, PET and Metal bottles. It is used across pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food and beverage packaging where consistent label placement and quick product changeover are important.
For companies sourcing labeling equipment in Tanzania, Technogen Enterprise serves as a Manufacturer and Supplier of Round Bottle Sticker Labeling Machine systems, with two production configurations capable of handling up to 120 bottles per minute and 240 bottles per minute, depending on label length.
The label applicator is driven by a servo motor, giving controlled label dispensing at production speed. Bottle presence is monitored through a background-suppression photoelectric sensor, while a fork-type photoelectric sensor reads the gap between consecutive labels. These two sensing functions allow the label to be released only when the bottle and label web are correctly positioned.
Once the label reaches the bottle, a separately driven DRP belt module controls bottle rotation and completes the wrap-around application. The system is designed for labeling accuracy within ±1 mm, excluding dimensional variation originating from the bottle or label itself.
One practical advantage becomes important when several bottle sizes are packed on the same line: no dedicated change parts are required for compatible bottle-diameter changes. Toolless adjustments and automatic label-length detection reduce the time required when switching formats.
The machine accepts round containers from 20 mm to 90 mm diameter, label lengths from 12 mm to 500 mm, and label heights from 12 mm to 170 mm. This operating window makes it suitable for a broad mix of round-bottle packaging handled by pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and beverage producers in Tanzania.
Working principle
The labeling cycle starts with bottles entering the machine on the variable-speed conveyor.
A background-suppression sensor detects the approaching bottle and confirms its presence before label dispensing begins.
The self-adhesive label roll is mounted on the reel mechanism. A dedicated brake arrangement maintains web tension so that the label roll unwinds in a controlled manner.
As the label web passes through the applicator, a fork-type photoelectric sensor identifies the gap between two consecutive labels.
The servo-driven applicator then dispenses the programmed label length.
When the bottle reaches the labeling point, the leading edge of the label is applied to its surface.
The bottle enters the DRP belt assembly, where it is held and rotated while the remaining portion of the label is wrapped around the circumference.
Depending on the label and container format, the machine can perform either full wrap-around or partial wrap-around labeling.
After application, the labeled bottle returns to normal conveyor movement and exits towards downstream coding, inspection or secondary packaging.
Machine adjustments and operating parameters are managed through the touch HMI interface, while manual and automatic operating modes are available for setup and normal production.

Applications & industries
The machine is particularly suited to production lines where the container remains round but bottle diameter, label dimensions or product category may change from batch to batch.
Typical uses include:
- Pharmaceuticals – Labeling round medicine bottles and vials.
- Cosmetics – Self-adhesive labeling of lotions, creams, oils and other round cosmetic containers.
- Food Products – Wrap-around labels for sauces, condiments and other round food containers.
- Beverages – Labeling PET, glass and plastic beverage bottles.
- General Packaging – Round Glass, Plastic, PET and Metal containers requiring pressure-sensitive labels.
The machine supports both full and partial wrap-around applications, so it can be used where the label covers the entire bottle circumference or only a selected section.
For packaging operations in Tanzania, the absence of dedicated bottle change parts is particularly useful when the same machine must handle several compatible round-bottle formats during the production schedule.

Round Bottle Sticker Labeling Machine for Tanzania production
For manufacturers in Tanzania, Round Bottle Sticker Labeling Machine should be evaluated against the actual product, pack format, production schedule and operating environment. Servo-driven automatic labeling system for full and partial wrap-around application of self-adhesive labels on round glass, plastic, PET and metal containers, with quick format adjustment and speeds up to 240 bottles per minute. The selected arrangement must suit both routine output and the changeovers expected during normal production.
Operating and product considerations
Reliable label placement begins with the container shape, surface, label stock, backing paper, adhesive and required application position. Product samples help define guides, sensors, dispensing geometry and pressing devices while also confirming how quickly an operator can change between supported formats.
Planning the complete production line
For a Tanzania packaging project, the labeller should be planned with the conveyor, upstream filling or capping machine and any batch-coding or inspection system. Container spacing and orientation affect placement consistency, so the proposal should consider the whole transfer sequence rather than the label head alone.
Information required for machine selection
- Container shape and dimensional range
- Label material, backing, dimensions and required application position
- Coding requirement, output and upstream product spacing
Enquiries are supported for projects in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza, Arusha, Morogoro and other Tanzanian industrial locations. The final model, construction, output, documentation and support scope are confirmed in the commercial and technical offer.
